I began studying Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan in August 2003. I was drawn to this school by the promise of improving my life as I learned and practiced the forms and techniques of Wu Style Tai Chi, and by the hospitality, generosity and purpose of Sifu Genie Parker, her disciples and students. As a beginner, when I stayed to watch the intermediate and advanced students do the 108 form, I felt like I was listening to a symphony. It has been a privilege to work and play with people who are so dedicated to continuing and sharing the traditions of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan.
